Race rules and legal basis
These terms apply to any matter that does not contradict the specific rules governing the Zara Athleticz Speed Run race.

Athletics Speed Run course
The race will be held over a 10,000-metre fully urban course, starting on Paseo de la Castellana, near Cuatro Torres, and finishing on Paseo de la Chopera, next to Madrid Río.
The following categories are established:
- Overall.
- Under-23: born in 2004, 2006 or 2006.
- Senior: born from 21/11/1991 to 2003.
- M-35 and F-35: from 35 to 39 years old.
- M40 and F40: from 40 to 44 years old.
- M45 and F45: from 45 to 49 years old.
- M50 and F50: from 50 to 54 years old.
- M55 and F55: from 55 to 59 years old.
Registration process
From the opening of registration until the first 4,000 entries, the fee is €16 plus €0.80 management costs. From entry 4,001 to 8,000, the fee is €18 plus €0.80 management costs. From entry 8,001 until the 12,000 available bibs are sold out, the fee is €20 plus €0.80 management costs.
Registrations must be made through the official race website: www.speedrun.es.
Payment will be made online securely and simply by credit/debit card.
No registrations will be accepted on race day.
Registration will not be considered complete until payment has been confirmed.
If a participant withdraws from the race, the registration fee will not be refunded. A refund will only be made in the event of accident or injury, with supporting medical documentation, minus bank management costs, provided it is requested more than ten (10) days before the race.
Registration is personal and non-transferable and implies acceptance of these terms. Replacing one participant with another is not permitted.
The organisation may run special-price registration promotions, provided that this information is published on the event website before the promotional offer or direct race action begins.
Disqualification
The race medical service and/or race judges are entitled to remove from the race:
- Any athlete who appears to be in poor physical condition.
- Any athlete who does not complete the full course.
- Any athlete who behaves in an unsporting manner.
Medical assistance and insurance
The organisation will provide appropriate medical services at the start, finish and along the race route.
The participant authorises the race health services to provide any medical treatment that may be required, whether or not the participant is able to request it; if requested by the medical services, the participant undertakes to leave the race if they consider it necessary for their health.
All participants are covered during their participation and within the established course by accident insurance in accordance with Royal Decree 849/1993 of 4 June.
Participation in the event is under each participant’s own responsibility and risk.
Data processing
In compliance with current data-protection regulations, the personal data collected will be processed confidentially and will become part of a file owned by LastLap.

Acceptance of terms
By participating in this promotion, participants accept these terms and the criteria of LastLap, S.L.U. regarding the resolution of any matter arising from it.
Liability
LastLap, S.L.U. is not responsible for possible losses, damage, theft, delays or any other circumstance attributable to third parties or to internet service that may affect the running of this race.
LastLap, S.L.U. is not responsible for any physical harm resulting from taking part in the race.
By registering, participants confirm that they are physically fit and release LastLap, S.L.U. from liability for any incident suffered during previous training or during the race.
Image rights
Acceptance of these rules implies that the participant authorises the organisation to record all or part of their participation and consents to the use of their image for the promotion and dissemination of the race, as well as its promotion on the event’s or the main sponsor’s (Zara Athleticz) social media channels without any right to financial compensation.
